Mercedes-Benz, a German car manufacturer, has officially announced its new launch of a new series of automobiles that integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into its voice control feature.

According to the company, Mercedes-Benz, to go for ChatGpt is plain sailing. Beginning on June 16, 2023, approximately 900.000 vehicles in the US with the MBUX infotainment system will be able to participate in an optional beta program.

Users can easily do so via the ‘Mercedes me’ app, or directly from their vehicle using the voice command: “Hey Mercedes, I want to join the beta program.” And what they will get if they do so is a more intuitive version of the MBUX Voice Assistant system ‘Hey Mercedes’.

With this new introduction to the vehicle, Mercedes-Benz is sure to be the most talked about topic for very long. Mercedes says that users will have a voice assistant that can carry on conversations in addition to accepting natural voice instructions. Soon, users who ask the Voice Assistant for information about their location, a new supper dish suggestion, or an answer to a complicated inquiry will get a more thorough response - all while keeping their hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road.

The auto company said “bringing ChatGPT to its cars has been made possible through a collaboration with Microsoft, which is a big investor in OpenAI, the company that created ChatGPT.”

Mercedes-Benz's foray into this new terrain marks a significant advancement towards a day when technology and everyday life are inescapably entwined. We await to experience the new technology as impatiently as you
