The feud between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg took another turn

After Zuckerberg declared that their cage match plans were about as outdated as a floppy disk, Musk fired back by claiming he's crashing Zuckerberg's house for a good old-fashioned showdown.

As the much-hyped cage match dreams between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk go up in smoke, Musk's latest plan involves surprising Zuckerberg at home, ready to duke it out without any formal invitations.

“For the Tesla FSD test drive in Palo Alto tonight, I will ask the car to drive to @finkd’s house,” Musk posted today on X, or the service formerly called Twitter. “If we get lucky and Zuck my 👅 actually answers the door, the fight is on!”

Musk, who once compared a user broadcasting his jet’s location to sharing “assassination coordinates,” says he’ll livestream the “adventure” on X.

Zuckerberg, it turns out, is having none of it.

“Mark is travelling right now and isn’t in Palo Alto,” a spokesperson for Zuckerberg at Meta, Iska Saric, announces. Also, Mark takes this sport seriously and isn’t going to fight someone who randomly shows up at his house.”

After a whirlwind of uncertainty and Musk's seemingly perpetual indecision about picking a date for their much-anticipated cage match, Zuckerberg decided to call it quits. Musk's flair for the dramatic reached new heights as he floated the idea of needing surgery before staging the fight in Rome, all while sidelining the UFC. Italy, however, was having none of it, swiftly rejecting the notion of a Roman rumble. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg, a dedicated jiujitsu enthusiast and tournament competitor, stood firmly in his corner, insisting that the fight adheres to professional standards.

“I don’t want to keep hyping something that will never happen, so you should either decide you’re going to do this and do it soon, or we should move on,” Zuckerberg recently told Musk in a text message that Musk, naturally, posted online. Musk then proposed a fight today in Zuckerberg’s backyard, taunting him with “perhaps you are a modern day Bruce Lee and will somehow win.”

Naturally, Musk must have suspected that his merry dance of ever-changing match conditions would make Zuckerberg tap out like a frustrated keyboard drummer. This whole saga was never really about trading punches – it's more like a grand symphony of chest-thumping, perfectly orchestrated to woo his fan club. Musk's talent for turning the bizarre into the outrageously baffling strikes again!
